Hello and thank you for purchasing our product and supporting my small business! 💖
I want to address an issue that some Maitreya Lara FlatX users experience — a glitch around the chest area when wearing clothes. I have personally encountered this issue since I began working in Second Life (SL). Initially, I didn’t face this problem because I used the default body shape provided by Lara FlatX. However, after switching to a custom shape, I noticed the chest glitch became very noticeable and quite frustrating.
After researching, I discovered that this issue is common among designers in SL. It seems that the chest area of the FlatX model can glitch with custom shapes, and while some designers suggest adjusting sliders as a temporary fix, the root problem appears to be related to the development kit. It’s possible that the FlatX kit has not been updated to match the same version provided to designers.
This weekend, during the Enniversary sale, I received messages from new customers experiencing this problem. So, I want to share some helpful information to ensure you can enjoy your product without frustration.
Below, you will find a screenshot showing a Discord discussion where other designers have reported this issue. Unfortunately, there has been no official response or fix from Maitreya yet, and the most common advice is to adjust your shape sliders. Since I understand how annoying this can be, I am also sharing my personal chest settings that I use, which have helped me avoid the glitch.
I genuinely hope this helps you enjoy your purchase without issues. Please know that if you encounter any problems with my products, you can always reach out. I am here to help and ensure you have the best possible experience.
Thank you for your support, and I hope we can continue to grow a healthy, happy shop together.
Love, Cruella De Bella
